Turtle conservation

Turtle conservation is an important means of protecting this delicate species that has been around four thousands of years. From box turtles, spotted turtles, sea turtles, and wood turtles; all have suffered from a serious decline in their overall population. It has been shown that due to over-harvesting of natural habitat and changes in climate; these beautiful animals are in danger of disappearing all together.
Due to this steady decline in turtle numbers, many conservation efforts have begun to unfold; many places both within the United States and World-wide.
Turtle conservation efforts, much like any other conservation effort takes money. This makes it extremely important for turtle lovers around the world to make donations to this effort. Allowing scientists and volunteers to keep one step ahead of these beautiful animal’s impending doom.
